Carl E. Mitchell
President & CEO

Carl is a dedicated individual whose background includes experience in both public and private sectors in program development and community outreach. His dynamic personality enables him to build strategic alliances and coalitions among corporate and nonprofit organizations. Before joining VEB in 2000, Mitchell was employed by American Research Corporation of Virginia, The National FFA Organization, Hanover County Public Schools, as well as co-owner of CELAM, Inc.

Kimber Simmons
Statistician and Program Manager

Kimber is a highly qualified statistician and seasoned researcher. She brings to the Community Audit staff substantial experience in business management, advertising and training and development. These skills, coupled with her keen analytical abilities, equip her with an insightful approach to community advancement. She believes in the concrete value of open, two-way communication, and works to incorporate her background in mathematics and statistics into her daily life.

  • Research and analysis with emphasis on Economic Research, Descriptive Statistics, Probability Distributions, Statistical Techniques, Experiment Designs and Statistical Software: Excel, Minitab, SPSS
